Jean Lefeuvre

Jean Lefeuvre (August 6, 1882 - December 31, 1974, spelled "Le Feuvre" in the Fayette catalog) was a French painter. He studied at the École des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He was awarded the Grand Prix de Rome in 1908. In keeping with the tradition of the time, he was a resident at the Académie de France in Rome, Villa Médicis, from 1909 to 1912. The Villa is currently occupied by the French Embassy in Italy.

Gold medalist at the Salon des artistes français in 1914, he was also honored with a silver medal at the 1937 Exposition Internationale.
