Georges Hourriez
Georges Hourriez (1878-1953) is commonly known as an engraver of postage stamps, though he also engraved many fine French banknotes. He was trained in wood engraving at the Estienne School, and began his philatelic career in 1915 for the Somali Coast, engraving three vignettes after drawings by Alfred Montader.
